         Zhu**, 12-year-old female patient of AIS and syringomyelia, had the different height of shoulders. The left shoulder was 3cm higher than the right one. In the peroperation assessment, the Cobb measuring was 100˚and the distance from the body to the both upper limb wasn’t equal with the severe “razor-back”. On Sept.14th 2005,the patient underwent the posterior scoliosis orthopaedics and fixation under the general anesthesia. After the operation, the Cobb measuring was 15˚and the scoliosis rectification rate was 85%. The rectification of the appearance deformity was satisfied. The shoulders were in the same level and the “razor-back” was to rectify completely.
